Reproduction 1963-1966 Corvette knock-off wheel spinner centre cap — pressure fits into the centre of the spinner with formed tabs.

Although I have the correct tool for removing these caps (a large suction cup), some mechanics insist on prying them off with a blade screwdriver. This bends the metal and, over time, causes the metal to stretch which means the caps don't fit correctly.
