Correspondence with Bill Gould (Part 3)
Part 3 of my correspondence with Corvette historian Bill Gould from Auto Ancestry.
"Chris, I just spoke with Galen Dea(pronounced Dee). He was very forthcoming and willing to help. He owned the car from June 27 1991 until June 26 1997. He has some paperwork that I am sure he will share with you. He bought the car from Glen Folks at Wente Winery in Livermore CA who I will try to contact. He thinks Glen owned the car for a year or two. He sold the car to a man who saw the car at a car show. Apparently the car went through a number of short time owners after Galen owned it until it ended up in Massachusetts with Mike DiCola. There may have been an owner in new Mexico somewhere in there. Galen can fill you in on those owners. He does not believe there was a museum ownership. The restoration book was passed along with the car.
Galen did a body on restoration and he believes that the engine had not been out of the car. He seems to have a great memory and I think will fill you in. My job now is to go back further in time."
